FRENCH ADULT CLASSES FOR THE  NEW ACADEMIC YEAR - 2024-2025

6 possible levels

Post-Beginner; Lower-Intermediate; Intermediate; Upper-Intermediate; Proficient; Advanced

 

 

Classes are run in the daytime or in the evening.

We focus mainly on conversation and vocabulary with a bit of grammar.

 

Our ONLINE classes , workshops and talks are run via the Zoom video-conference professional platform, which is very easy to use even if you are not a "tech person". You just need a laptop or mobile phone. We will send you instructions to follow by email or will assist you over the phone if your need. No need to sign up on Zoom, just click on a link we will send you and you will find yourself in our virtual classroom with the rest of your group!

We also run a French book-club.

 

 

ONLINE classes

5 students maximum per class

60-minute weekly classes (for four participants)

 

Fee: £126 per person per term - online (Beginners: £136 per person per term*)

 

Students can enrol for just one term or for as many terms as they wish during the academic year - from September to June.

New students can join classes any time during the term if there are still places available. They will only pay for the remaining sessions.

Class days and/or times may be altered to suit participants' needs. Do not hesitate to contact us if the day or times do not suit you.

 

 

Beginners (A1):  Wednesdays 6.00 pm - 7.00 pm (Autumn term starts on Wedn. 23rd October 2024)

 

 

Lower-Intermediate / Intermediate (A2/B1): Mondays 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm

 

 

Post-Beginners / Lower-Intermediate (A1/A2): Tuesdays 6.00 pm - 7.00 pm

 

 

Intermediate (B1): Thursdays 5.45 pm - 6.45 pm

 

 

Upper-Intermediate or above (B2+) : to be announced

One session each month

 

French book-club - Intermediate: to be announced

No textbook is required for the conversation classes

 

(When participants miss a session, they can always attend a catch-up session in another class of a similar level. Catch-up sessions have to be taken during the same term)

 

Term dates for weekly classes:

 

There are 5 terms, from September 2024 to mid-July 2025:

(Reminder: new students are free to join classes any time during a term)

 

1. Autumn term (8 weeks, from the week of 23rd September 2024, Beginners: 8 weeks, from Wednesday 23rd October 2024)

2. Winter term (8 weeks, from the week of 18th November 2024)*

3. Spring term (8 weeks, from the week of 27th January 2025)

4. Summer term  (8 weeks) from the week of 24th March 2025)

5. Extended Summer term (from the week of 19th May 2025)

    *Christmas holiday: two weeks off, on the weeks of 23rd December and 30th December 2024

 

 

Do not hesitate to contact us if you don't know your level or if the days and times of the class you are interested in do not suit you, as new classes can be opened any time during the academic year, and class days/times can be changed. If you are unable to start at the beginning of the term, you can start later and will only pay for the remaining sessions.

 

If you are a Beginner, do not hesitate to contact us as we may be able to open a Beginners class if we have enough participants. We can call you on a mobile or on a landline number if you wish to discuss this further.
